ORGANISATION FORMED
ELECTION OF OFFICERS [bv telegraph—own correspondent] WAIIII, Thursday Waihi dog fanciers assembled at a meeting convened by Mr. A. Patterson and decided to form a kennel club. The Mayor, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt, said that tho club would be an important adjunct to the recently-formed Waihi Agricultural and Pastoral Association, which was sponsoring the club. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Viscount Gal way; vice-patrons, Air. Wallnutt, Mr. J. Thorn, M.P., the Hon. W. E. Parry, Major C. A. Whitney and Mrs. J. B. Weedon; president, Air. G. A. Nisbet; vice-presidents, Dr. L. K. Hetherington, Dr. A. Jenkins, Mr. K. Gardiner and Mr. E. V. Hofl'ornan; honorary .solicitor, Mr. H. L. Boughton; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Patterson; committee, Messrs. E. C. Huon, W. Thomson, W. Hdbinson, E. V. Heffernan and J. Learnionth.
It was decided to make application for affiliation with tho New Zealand Kennel Club.
