Albert John Daniel Smith, aged 26, truck driver, who was convicted of a similar oHence two years ago, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. The police said that his truck collided with an iron bridge, and he became very violent. Force had to be used to lock him up. Accused was also prohibited from driving for two years. Charles Whittaker, aged 50, public servant, whose offence, according to the police, was not a bad one,_ was fined £lO and prohibited from driving for two years.
