DRIED FRUIT CASE
CLAIM FOR DAMAGES SUIT AGAINST GOVERNMENT CANBERRA. Sept. 80 Mr. F. A. James, whose recent successful appeal to the Privy Council in the dried fruit case upset the Commonwealth's marketing powers, intends to claim £25,000 damages from the Federal Government. Mr. James said to-day: "1 could claim a lot more but I do not want to be vindictive." He said his claim was for general loss of trade.
