JAM SANDWICHES
A surprise awaited wedding guests nt tlio reception held at the Swiss Legation, London, after the recent wedding of Miss Lisa Maugham and M. Vincent Paravicini. They discovered that various dishes on tho buffets contained jam sandwiches. It is years since jam sandwiches appeared at town house parties. Another innovation consisted of largo. bowls of whiteheart cherries, which proved far more popular than raspberries ar.d cream. Rustic baskets were carelessly filled with roses as if they had just been brought in from tho garden.
