NORTH AUCKLAND NURSES

The monthly meeting of the North Auckland branch of the Registered Nurses' Association was held at KawaIcawa. The president, Miss E. Swayne, matron of the Whangarei District Hospital, presided over a largo attendance of nurses. Dr. G. J. Frenglev, medical superintendent of the Kawakawa Hospital, gavo a lecture on emergency measures in the homo. Miss Orsman, matron of the Kawakawa Hospital, Miss Hall, and tho married nurses of the district were tho hostesses lor tho afternoon.
