NOTES FROM EVERYWHERE TRACK AND STABLE GOSSIP Screen Star and Charade, winners at Greeramcadows on Saturday, are members of J. H. Jefferd's Ngatarawa team. Kinnoull, who had to be withdrawn from his spring engagements owing to the development of a splint, was on the track at Warwick Farm last Thursday. Although still scratchy in his action, Kinnoull is showing improvement.

The successful lightweight jockey A. 11. Knox, who rode 98 winners in Sydney last season and would probably have reached the century mark only because of an accident resumed race riding on September 12. Kuox has quickly regained good form in tho saddle and at the Hawkesbury meeting last Saturday he piloted three winners.

Although he is seven years old, Export, winner of the Maiden Race at Marfcon last Saturday, has been very little before the public. He is a chestnut gelding by Lackham from Spain, a Signor mare who won races 20 years ago. Another of Spain's progeny are Alvarez, dam of Gibraltar, and Armadillo, dam of Court Arraa and Armacourt.

The grey mare Vivaruliere, dam of Canteen and ancestress of other wellperformed greys, Araunah and Grand Sport, is also the third dam of Erebus, a winner at Marton. Erebus is a very unusually coloured galloper, being a red roan, with light patches over his back and quarters. He is a five-year-old by Diaequenod and is owned and trained by Mr. W. F. Alexander, Waverley.
