ROYAL PROCLAMATION FIRST [from 'our own correspondent] LONDON, Sept. 9 The new King Edward VIII. coinage .Trill be in circulation early next year, states a special correspondent in tha Daily Telegraph. Design a are now being prepared for the Royal Mint. When they have been completed they will be submitted to the King; for approval, and a Royal Proclamation will be issued permitting the Mint to place the new coinage in circulation. An official of the Mint stated yesteri day that the proclamation would probably be issuecl toward the end of this year, and would give the exact date at :f "which the coinage will come into circulation. , "The proclamation," he said, "will take the form of a description of the design for the King's head and the •wording common to the obverse side of all coins. Descriptions of the designs of the reverse sides for the different denominations will also be given. "The proclamation ivill be issued about two months before the coins are to come into- circulation, to give us plenty of; time to prepare them."
