CHILDREN'S CORNER The dedication of a Children's Corner, which is to iserre the dual purpose of linking together the children of thf» Dominion, who come under the influence of tlie Church Army and providing a place of worship for local ishildreh, was dedicated in the present of a large gathering of adults and children in the chapel of the Church Army headquarters on Tuesday night. The service was conducted by the field secretary of the Church Army, Captain S. R. Banyard. An address on the "Aims and objects of the Corner" was given by the children's mistiioner, Captain D. Kee, and the ltev. W. Averill pronounced the blessing;. A little girl read a brief passage of Scripture and a small boy lit the candles on the altar. The Corner is decorated in blue and silver, and in the window above the altar is a striking painting in oiltn of two children and their guardian angel. This painting with the hangings and furnishings and several other pictures was the gift of local supporters, while other pictures and a plaque of the Madonna and Child are gifts from England. A message to the children from Viscount and Viscountess Bledisloe also had been placed in the corner. A printing press also was dedicated. In his dedication address Mr. Avierill spoke of the splendid action of the young printer, Captain F. Day, who had devoted both himself and his press to the service of God and the Church Ariiiy.
