Mr. Lan S. Bowater, of London, a director of W. V. Bowater and-Sons, Limited, a id the Edward Lloyd Investment Company, will reach New Zealand on September 28. Mr. Bowater ia accompanied by his wife, who is a daughter of Lord Dawson of Penn. From New Zealand they will go to Australia, afterward visiting South Africa.
The Hon. P. Eraser, Minister of Education and Health, spent a busy day in Auckland yesterday. In the morning he inspected a number of schools in the city and suburbs, and in the afternoon he itiade calls at the Auckland Mental Hnspital and the Boys' Home at Owairaka. The Minister left for Wellington by the limited express in the evening.
