OUTLOOK FOR WOOL

GOOD MARKET EXPECTED JAPAN AND AMERICA BUYERS One of the results of Australia's trade dispute with Japan will be a sharp increase in Japan's wool purchases from New Zealand this season, according to Mr. W. Crowe., a prominent American wool importer, who arrived by the Niagara from Sydney yesterday. Mr. Crowe also predicted a good American market for New Zealand wool. "New Zealand will benefit from the absence of any prohibiting treaties between her and Japan," said Mr. Crowe. "I think Japan will consume much of your wool this Beason, especially in the finer grades. The wool market should be steady all over the world, because we are out of the depression, and the first thing people think of in a time of upward trends i« the purchase of food and clothing."
