PELLET IN BOY'S EYE

DISCHARGE OF AIRGUN [by TELEGRAPH —OWN' correspondent] NAPIER, Monday A ten-year-old boy is in danger of losing the sight of his right eye as the result of an injury received when a pGllet from an airgun lodged in the eye a few days ago. The boy, Billy Davis, of Kimbolton, was staying with friends in Napier South at the time. With a little friend, the boy was sent on ah errand, but as they were about to, leave the residence at which they were staying an airgun in the possession of a third boy was discharged and the pellet entered Davis' eye. Dr. Harold Berry was called and the boy was taken to the Napier Hospital for an X-ray examination/ It is expected that he will be in the hospital for some time, and fears-:are held that he will lose the sight of the eye.
