PIRATE SHIP

. An atmosphere of spring pervaded the Pirate Ship at Milford Beach on Saturday night, when a joyous oldtime dance carnival, entitled "Spring Chicken," was held. As usual there was a very largo attendance, many people from the city as well as from the North Shore taking advantage ot special transport arrangements. Ihe stage \v;is decorated with field daisies, and " cut-outs " of! chickens adorned the cubicles. Tiny fairy lights, balloons mid streamers completed a very attractive scene. Popular old-time dance numbers were played by the Pirate Snip band and were frequently encored.
