AMBULANCE BRIGADE

INSPECTION AT TAURANGA [BY TELEGRAPH OWX CORRESPONDENT^) : TAURANGA, Monday The annual inspection of the women's and men's sections of the St. John Ambulance Brigade took place yesterday afternoon. There were present 11 members of the women's division under" the command of Sirs. 11. H. Faulkner, lady superintendent, and 12 members of the men's division under Superintendent R. Youngmnn. The inspection was carried out by District Superintendent Cobbe, of Hamilton, accompanied by the divisional superintendent and ambulance officer of the 'Hamilton branch. The Mayor, Mr. L. R. Wilkinson, and Mr. Cobbe both addressed the gathering. Warrants of appointment were presented to Divisional Superintendent R. Youngman and Ambulance Officer W. H. Lowe. The proceedings concluded with a competition by the men's division for a cup presented .by Mr. E. T. Baker. The competition was judged by Dr. J. Mark. Scrgeaftt A. Dinsdale was the winner of the trophy, which is to be competed for bi-annuallv.
