BACES AT WINGATUI PROGRAMME FOR SATURDAY DETAILS OF ACCEPTANCES [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Monday Acceptances for the Otago Hunt Club's races at Wingatui on Saturday are as follows:
EARLY TWO-YEAR-OLDS „ ; ;. DEBUTANT STAKES FIELD. Two-year-olds who are expected to make an early beginning with their racing careers in the Wanganui Debutant Stakes include several whose breeding suggests success on the turf. Scarf Dance, a sister to Veilinond and Limond Lad, and Icing, similarly related to Tout le Monde, may both represent Mr. G. M. Currie, whose colours were carried to the front last year by Moquette. Mr. G. F. Moore, another breeder whose stock has maintained its prominence in early racing for many years, will be represented by Ruling Star, a son of Chief Ruler from a hailf-sister to Veil. Greenwich, a sister to Cricket, cost Mr. M. Millar 325gns. as a yearling. Another Chief Ruler filly is Aiwai, a sister to Prevail, and who is held on lease by F. W. Davis, Woodville. Mr. A. 11. Marshall, Marton, may be represented by Wildflower, a filly by Chief Ruler from Lilimond, the dam of Siegmund. ; The only representative of Paper Money is Ticket, a half-sister to Shy, who will race in the same ownership. Mr. W. Higgins' checkers will be carried by Sigurd, a colt by Siegfried from All Bright. Another Siegfried is Mr. A. F. M. Syme's Screen Star, a gelding from the dam of Movie Star. Two Arausio fillies are Mr. F. Ormond's Geira, half-sister to Werohia, and W. H. Dwyor's Jolly, half-sister to Birthday Party. Jolly was secured at the Trentham sales for 45gns. Messrs. 0. Cox and J. F. Meuli have hopes of Lickem, a colt by Lackham from Kilting, a half-sister to Metro; Carrington Hall, to be raced by Mr. F. T. Hall, Gisborne, is a colt by Hunting Song from Merry Roe, thus a brother to Merry Peel, and a halfbrother to Merry Damon. Laughing Prince is the sire of Gay Molly, whose dam is Mandane. Like tho latter, she will carry the colours of Mr. N. and Mrs. Si. M. Blackmore, Palmorston North. Mr. F. W. Ehrhorn will return to racing with Nuclei, a filly by Acre from Nucleus, the dfim also of Gay Circle, now in Australia, and the defunct Gay Chief. Airam is an anagram of the name of W. H. Maria, for she was bought in Sydney last Easter. The fill V is by Brazen from Volume, by Va'lais. Mr. C. E. Robertson, Wellington, has not yet had a name registered for his filly by Captain Bunsbj— Prophet's Mark, being trained at Te Awamutu. The filly by Resinous from Fairy Girl will reintroduce tho colours of Mr. J. Dealy. *
