NORTHERN CLUB'S RACE In the Northern Racing Pigeon Club's old birds' race from Taumarunui, the winning bird took OVi hours to cover 145 miles. The winner has now won the last fivo races in •which it has started. The four leading birds were:—C. Warner's b hj, 047 yds per min., Is F. Tucker's b c p hj, Bella Vista, 640 yds, 2; L. Porter's b c hj, 037 yds, 3; L. Bedford's b c ii, Surbiton Girl, G3Gyds, 4. CORNWALL CLUB'S EVENT Following is the result of the Cornwall Racing Pigeon Club's fourth race of the season, flown from Hunterville, an airline distance of 218 miles:—Mr. C. Warner's Lord Barker, 600 yds, 1; Mr. L. Porter's Lucky Lew, 008 yds, 2; Mr. M. Carroll's Plumstone, 603 yds, 3; Mr. T. Petry'g Little Ben, 638 yds, 4.
