CANTERBURY COLLEGE OFFER TO LONDON LECTURER [by telegraph—own correspondent] CHRISTCIIURCH, Monday The position of professor of physics nt Canterbury University College, left vacant by tho retirement of Dr. C. Coleridge Farr, will bo offered to Dr. F. W. G. White, who has been for tho last three years a part-time lecturer at the London Polytechnic, according to a recommendation passed by the College Council to-day. Failing acceptance by Dr. White, the post will be offered to Dr. 11. G. J. Fraser, of tho physical chemistry laboratory at Cambridge.
