FORTY-TWO PROSECUTIONS [FROM OUH OWN COHUESPONDENT] WIIANGAIIEI, Monday Forty-two mo Prints wore charged before Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., at tlie Police Court to-day that on June 5 they did not possess tho current year's driving liconco. Sergeant F. Qulloty prosecuted, and most of the motorists were represented by Mr. Trimmer who was instructed by the Automobile Association (Auckland). As at tho previous sitting of the Court, tho magistrate held the view that the raid on motorists this year was a little earlier than usual, and for that reason he convicted and ordered to pay costs only, those residing in the country districts, and fined 10s and Costs those living in or near Whangarei.
