ANGLERS AT TAUPO
Sir—The majority of anglers wish to follow the regulations and the local authorities should he compelled to publish those regulations in a reasonable, manner. I went to Taupo last-.season, interviewed the conservator and the ranger and bought a licence. No word was spoken nor was there the faintest indication on the licence of the existence of special areas -or regulations. I carlnot say whether the agent selling the licence had a copy of the regulations, but, if so, they were not displayed or shown to me. Would it not be simple enough to print th 6 regulations on the back of the licenc& and allow a sporting department to acquire a sporting reputation? Play the Game.
