The season, which has now closed for him, has seen him successful in three important steeplechase events —the Waikato, Great Northern and July Steeples, while ho has been twice placed third, and seven times out of the money. His total earnings for the term are £1470, his best since he was a seven-vnar-old, when he won £1505. To date, he has contested 64 races for 12 wins, five seconds,, nine thirds and -'3B times unplaced, his aggregate winnings being £5260 His next mission will be the Grand National at Riccarton.
