MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS
The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Railways and Minister of Industries and Commerce, spent yesterday on departmental busqiess in Auckland, and received deputations at the Station Hotel. In the evening he officially opened the Auckland Winter Exhibition. The Minister will leave this morning by rail-car for Wellington. The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Public Works, had another busy day in the North yesterday. He inspected level crossings north of Whangarci, discussed flood problems with settlers on the Hikurangi swamp,- visited Onerahi. nnd also inspected the Wilson Cement Company's plant-at Portland. A number of deputations were met during the day. In the evening the Minister give a public address in the Whangarci l"*™ Hall. Hp will leave Whangarei tins morning for Warkworth, where he ' Vl || meet the Rodney County Council, and expects to reach Auckland early in the afternoon. He will leave for Wellington to-morrow night.
