KING'S CORONATION
TROOPS FROM NEW ZEALAND STILL TO BE CONSIDERED [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON, Wednesday The representation of New Zealand by a contingent of troops at the Coronation ceremonies of King Edward VIII. in London next year has still to be considered by the Government, according to a statement made to-day? by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. "I have received several requests that a body of troops from the Dominion should be sent to London to take part in the ceremonial parades at the time of the Coronation," Mr. Jones said. "I understand, that a New Zealand contingent visited London at the time of the Coronation of the late King George, and Empire representation on such an occasion is doubtless strongly desired in many quarters. "However, the matter is one wliirh will have to be considered fully by the Government. The size of any possible contingent and the expense of sending it overseas would he important factors. The matter will be Hept in view and the Government's decision will bo announced as soon as possible."
