NAUTICAL INQUIRY
MISHAP TO WAHINE ANNOUNCEMENT BY MINISTER | BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON, Wednesday An announcement that a magisterial inquiry would be held into the mishap to the inter-Island express steamer Wahine, which struck a wharf at Wellington in a fog on the morning of June 5, was made to-day by the Minister of Marine, the Hon. P. Fraser. Captains J. Mawson and J. G. Watson have been appointed to act as assessors No date has yet been fixed for the inquiry.
