FUTURE OF RUAKURA
DEPARTMENT'S INTENTIONS A PROGRESSIVE POLICY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday "We intend to develop Ruakura in a progressive manner," said Mr. A. H. Cockayne, Director-General of Agriculture, in an interview in Hamilton when discussing the future of the farm. Mr. Cockayne said it was the intention of the Agricultural Department to make the farm of greater value to the Waikato than it had been. It was felt that Ruakura should be the focus point from which the department's extension work for the Auckland Province should come.
