With the exception of several fairly substantial , declines, values wero stronger in the investment markeft on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. The 1955 4 per cent stock advanced 7s 6d to £lO6 7s 6d. A feature of the banking section was the improvement in New Zealands. A firming in buyers' limits led to an opening transfer ljd higher at 45s 6d, and a later sale at 46s lifted rates by 7jd. New South "Wales sold 17s 6d lower at £32 os, but transfers have been made on the Sydney register at approximately this level.
