BRIDGE EVENING
HAMILTON WEST PARENTS Organised by the Hamilton West Parents' Association, the first bridge evening of the 1936 season held in the Centreway Lounge on Tuesday proved a successful function. Large bowls of Iceland poppies in vivid colours were artistically arranged in the lounge. The guests were received by the president of the association, Mrs. A. R. Brown, who wore a frock of black lace and floral velvet coatee. The prize-winners were Mr. and Mrs. 6. S. Frost and Mr. Duff. Among those present were:—Mrs. R. Greenslade, Mrs. Marshall, Mrs. J. J. Faville, Mrs. H. R. Murray, Mrs. Whitaker, Mrs. Wheatley, Mra. A. E. Savage, Mrs. W. Menzies, Mrs. Cooney, Mrs. M. Morris, Mrs. W. Shultz, Mrs. Mclvor, Mrs. E. G. Scrimshaw, Mrs. Stubbs, Mrs. Tutchen, Mrs. R. McCaw, Mrs. Jull,l Mrs. L. Andrews, Mrs. Mark, Mrs. P. Dingle, Mrs. Crowhurst, Mrs. Craig, Mrs. F. Farrell, Mrs. Searell, Mrs. H. Piper, Mrs. W. Percival, Mrs. A. F. Meldrum, Mrs. Gollop, Mrs. A. H. Franks, Mrs. Langley, Mrs. A. Wheeler, Mrs. F. Stockman. Mrs. K. Brewis, Auckland (formerly of Hamilton) and Mrs. G. HamptonReynolds have left on a visit to California. Mrs. G. Sandford, of Hamilton, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. J. M. Buckland Lift Hamilton for Wellington, en route for Sydney.
