FINANCIAL PROVISION PROPOSED CIVIL LIST REPORT OF COMMITTEE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received April 29, 6.5 p.m.) British "Wireless * RUGBY, April 27 An annual saving of £155,900 for the time being will result from the proposals of the Select Committee which was appointed to consider the question of financial provision for the Crown in the Civil List. The report of the committee will come before the House of Commons on Monday. The total of the list is £410,000 a year, compared with £470,000 proposed at the beginning of the reign of the late King George. However, the whole of the sum of His Majesty's Privy Purse (£110,000) will remain undrawn so long as the revenues of the Duchy of Cornwall do not fall below £102,000 a year. Queen Mary will receive an annuity of £70,000. Provision will be made for the Duke of York as heir-presumptive to the throne in view of his heavier duties, as well as for the contingency of King Edward's marriage.
