PRESENTATION

A gathering was held in tho Huntly School of Alines under the auspices of tho Huntly Bowling Club in honour of Mr. W. Barclay, who this season won the South Auckland bowling championship singles and the championship of the Huntly Club. In presenting Mr. Barclay with a silver cup as a momonto from the local bowlers, the Mayor, Mr. W. C. E. George, congratulated the recipient on his wonderful display. Mr. George said it was tho first time any Huntly bowler had won the singles trophy since its inception in 1914. During the evening club trophies won this season were presented to tho winners.
