CRAWFORD'S TENNIS

COMMENT BY CANADIAN IN EXCELLENT CONDITION VANCOUVER, April 20 Dr. Jack Wright, a prominent Canadian tennis player, says Jack Crawford, of Australia, will be hard to beat in the forthcoming Davis Cup matches. The last time he met the Australian was in tho American National Doubles tourney at Boston in 1928, when Crawford and Hopman defeated Wright and Crocker. After watching the Australian team at a practice to-day, Dr. \Y 7 right declared that Crawford is in excellent condition, carries less weight and is fit for a hard campaign. The team at the week-end will be guests of the Vancouver Tennis Club and other organisations.
