DEATH OF CHEMIST VERDICT AT THE INQUEST An inquest into the death of Mr. George Charles Edward Hobson, aged 40, married, chemist, of Papakura. who died in the Auckland Hospital on March 22, was held before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, on Thursday. Evidence was given that deceased was admitted to the hospital on March 20. and died two days later. It was stated that he had been in the habit of taking sleeping draughts. A i verdict was returned that death was j due •to bronchial pneumonia, brought on. by an overdose of a drug, there being insufficient, evidence to determine whether it >was self-ad-ministered or otherwise.
