POSSIBLE EXTENSION SPECIAL STATION SUGGESTED [BY TELEGRAPH—SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON, Friday A possible extension of the experiment of Parliamentary broadcasts was mentioned yesterday by the Prinxe Minister, Mr. Savage, in an interview. "It appears the demand is there." the Prime Minister said, "and it is only a question as to how we shall meet it. Tho solution seems to be in the direction of providing a special station for Parliamentary broadcasts, although naturally it would broadcast other material as well and would not broadcast Parliament in full, with all the formalities and other details which might become boring to listeners io time."
Mr. Savage said that with the tion of a new 2YA broadcasting station at Wellington it might bo possible to use the old transmitter and plant for ■•the purposes of a special station. However, he would have to go into the matter with tho broadcasting authorities to determine the best possible action.
