EXCLUSION OF CANTERBURY _ PROTEST TO BE LODGED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday Protests concerning the exclusion of Canterbury from a match against the English Rugby League team, which is to tour New Zealand this season, were voiced at a meeting last evening of the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Football League. The delegate to the annual meeting of the New Zealand council next month was instructed to do all in his power to arrange a match. The chairman, Mr. W. S. E. He suggested that an attempt should bo made to secure some other date.
