HOWICK CLUB'S CONTESTS The Howick Sailing Club's contest for the club championship pennant and set of caps for tho winning crew, postponed from February 2, resulted in a win on corrected times for Memutu, with Mawhitr second and Maroro third. The points cup was won by Maroro. with Maratea, the holder, second. The finishing times in this event, which was a resail from March 10, were:—Memutu, 4h 3m 19s; Surprise, 4h 4m 345; Mawhiti, 4h 6m 335; Maroro, 4h 7m 9s; Maratea, 4h 7m 435.
