"COULD NOT AGREE"

COURT GRANTS DIVORCE On the ground of a deed of separation existing for more than three years Alfred Louis Hastedt (Mr. Kewbury) sought divorce from Rose Winnie Hastedt (Mr. Allan J. Moody) before Mr. Justice Fair in the Supreme Court yesterday. The parties were married in December, 1927, and they entered into a deed of separation in October, 1929. "We simply could not agree owing to her people interfering," said the petitioner, when asked by His Honor what was the cause of the separation. "We decided it would be better to part rather than carry on." There were no children.

Mr. Moody was granted leave to withdraw the wife's answer, and His Honor issued a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months.
