FORMER ALL BLACK
F. D. KILBY TO COACH Frank Kilby, former All Black Rngbv captain, has retired from active football, but this does not mean that he is severing his connection with the camo. He will coach the Wellington Club's first fifteen in the place of L. M. Johnson, a former team mate in club provincial and New Zealand representative Rugby. Johnson will carry out special work in the club's interests. Kilb.v was a delegate to the annual meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union and has been a Wellington delegate to the New Zealand Rugby Union. He was the recipient last week of a wedding gift from the management committee of the New Zealand Union, and in making the presentation, the chairman, Mr. S. S. Dean, expressed pleasure at th« fact, that, although Kilbv had given up active playing, he had ioyied the ranks of the administrators
