INJURIES PROVE FATAL

FARMER STRUCK BY TRAIN ACCIDENT NEAR TE AROHA [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday The death occurred in the Waikato Hospital this morning- of Mr. Norman Low Lockhead, aged 38, a farmer, of Te Puna, Tauranga, who was knocked down by an excursion train at Herriesvi lie, Te Aroha, on the evening of Sunday, February 16, and received serioin head injuries. Deceased had been camping at Te Aroha and was taking a short cut along the line when the accident Occurred. Deceased was a single man. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
