SLIP ON RAILWAY
MANAWATU GORGE LINE PASSENGER TRAFFIC DIVERTED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday Another fall of rock across the railway occurred in the Manawatu Gorge this afternoon. The quantity of material was not sufficient to prevent trains from running, but in view of the hazards of the journey passenger traffic between Woodville and Palmerston North was diverted to the road.
