HAMILTON CLUB'S EVENT [from our own correspondent] Hamilton, Monday The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club contested a race on Saturday from Feilding, an airline of 170 miles. The stationmaster liberated the birds at 10 a.m., with flying conditions unfavourable. Results:—W. G. Pountney's b c h SGO, 972 yds per min, 1; L. Cooper's b b h 508, 9G9yds, 2; Philmore Bros.' b c h 934 , 958 yds, 3. RACE FROM NATIONAL PARK Following are the results of the Papatoetoe Pigeon Club's race from National Park, an air-line distance of 155 miles:— W. G. Lynn's Bugle Call, 889.80 yds per minute. 1; McLarnon's Royal Prince, 870.40yd5, 2; T. H. Brittain's Miss Batten, 801.00 yds, 3. TE KUITI TO NORTH SHORE Following are the results of the North Shore Pigeon Club's race from Te Kuiti, an air-line distance of 100 miles:—Mr. Barnhill's Ping Pong, 836.4 yds per minute, 1; Mr. Follis' Iron Side, 835.5yd5, 2; Mr. Hemingway's Young Logan. 834 yds, 8; Mr. Smith's Royal Secret, 832 yds, 4. ONEHUNGA CLUB Following is the result of the Onehunga Racing Pigeon Club's first race of the 1936 young bird season from Poro-o-tarao:— Mr. R. Deveretix's entry, 864 yds per minute, 1; Messrs. Prentice and Son's entry, BC3yds, 2; Redwood Loft's entry, 861ydB, 3; Mr. D. Wallace's entry, 854 yds, 4. PUKEMIRO JUNCTION CLUB Following is the result of the Pukemiro Junction Pigeon Club's race from Ohakunc. a distance of 125 miles:—Mr. E. Hazell'a entry, 868 yds per minute, 1; Mr. W. Peden's entry, 866.5yd5, 2; Mr. E. Hazell's entry, 866.3yd5, 3. Seven lofts competed.
