ENGINEERS' APPOINTMENTS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday Advice of his transfer to Wellington has been received by Mr. R. H. P. Ronayne, district engineer of the Public Works Department and chairman of the No. 1 District Highways Council. Mr. Ronayne has been stationed in Whangnrei for the past three years. Ho will be succeeded by Mr. R. Packwood, who has just returned from an extensive tour abroad, during which he investigated hydro-electric construction methods on behalf of the department. Mr. Packwood had previously been engaged in the construction of the ,Waitaki hydro-electric works. ' "
