GIRL CYCLIST KILLED

COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR [by telegraph —rRESS association] INVERCARGILL, Monday A fatal accident occurred in Ellos Road, near Rugby Park, at 8 o'clock to-night, when a motor-car driven by a young man, Mr. J. C. B. Glass, met in collision with a cyclist, Joan Lorraine Nicholson, aged 10, the daughter of Mr. J. R. Nicholson, of Invercargill. The girl suffered severo, head injuries and died while being taken to hospital in an ambulance. The motorist and cyclist were travelling in opposite directions and the cyclist was thrown violently against the windscreen of the car, which was broken.
