FAR NORTH AERODROME

OPENING AT WAIPAPAKAURI VISIT BY AUCKLAND MACHINES Tho opening ceremony of the Waipapakauri aerodrome, recently completed by the Government as a terminal base for the North, will bo performed on Thursday. A party of five or more machines from the Auckland Aero Club's hangars will leave on Wednesday for Kaikohe, where a display will be given, and on the Thursday they will arrive at Waipapakauri. It is hoped that a Wildebeest and other aeroplanes from the Hobsonvillo Air fiase will also make the trip.

The new aerodrome is described as first-class. There is ample space and the runways are well situated and beautifully smooth.
