COINAGE AND MEDALS MINT OFFICIAL CONSULTED (Received February 23, 5.5 p.m.) .British Wireless RUGBY, Feb. 22 King Edward received in audience at Buckingham Palace Sir Robert Johnson, Deputy-Master of tho Mint, and discussed with him the steps to be taken for the issue of tho new coinago and medals bearing His Majesty's likeness. EMPIRE BROADCAST SUNDAY MARCH 1 FIXED British Wireless RUGBY. Feb. 21 The British Broadcasting Corporation announces that King Edward will broadcast to tho Empire at 4 p.m. (Greenwich time) on Sunday, March 1. His Majesty will bo heard from all British transmitters, including the Empire station at Daventry. NO MOURNING AT ASCOT SATISFACTION EXPRESSED LONDON. Feb. 21 Much satisfaction is expressed by exhibitors and buyers at the textile section of the British Industries Fair at the announcement that the King does not expect tho public to wear mourning at Ascot. It is regarded as another example of His Majesty's anxiety that the death of his father should cause a minimum of disturbance to tho coun-
try's trade.
