MELBOURNE INNOVATION
CLEAN "LUBRITORIUM" ' A recent welcome addition to car servicing facilities in Melbourne is a business established exclusively for the efficient lubrication of cars—the first move of the kind yet made in Victoria. At premises in Little Bourko Street, a business man has opened a "lubritorium," equipped with the latest machines and appliances for handling the lubrication problems of all makes and models of cars. The premises are spotlessly clean. Attendants wear white overalls. Five hydraulic car lifts are installed, and provision has been mado for 12. Power spring-spraying equipment, mechanical sump draining apparatus, and air powor-operated guns are fitted. The main power gun exerts a pressure of lubricant at the greasing nipple of 60001b. to 80001b. per square inch, yet is operated by finger pressure. There are "guns" for handling all consistencies of lubricant. A feature is the provision of a wellfurnished waiting-room, where customers may smoke or read while their cars are receiving attention.
