PASCOE CUP COMPETITION / _ Following are the results of quarter-final matches in the Pascoe Cup lawn tennis competition, played at the Clive Road courts on Thursday evening:— Post Office v. L. Mitchell, Limited.—Forrest and Cflrte beat L. Mitchell and Pountnev 6 1. 6—o; Anderson and Osborne beat A. and J. D. Mitchell, fr-3, 6—3. Post Offic* won by two matches to nil. New Zealand Railways v. Lands and Surrey.—Jebb and Storry beat Ellis and Roberts, 6-3, 6-1: Cochrane and Hayte lost to Higgins and Ledger, 4—6, 6—2, B—to. Jebb and Cochrane beat Roberts and Biggins, 4—6, 6—l, 7—5. New Zealand Railways won by two matches to one. Savings Bank v. Westfield Freezing Works. —Allen and Wellbourne beat Lusk and Fenton, &—5, 6—4; Barrett and Harrison beat Elder and Grant, 6-1, 5-6, 6-2 Savings Bank won by two matches to nil. The following semi-final _ matches will be played on Monday evening, commencing at 7.45 p.m.:—Johns, Limited, v.. New Zealand Railways, Post Office v. Savings Bank
