DANCE AT MANGAPAI
The Mangapai Hockey Club held a successful dance at which visitors were present from the surrounding districts. Several competition dances were held, and brackets of banjo duets were rendered by Messrs. Hartley, Higgott and Prime. Among those present were: — Mrs. P. S. Carter, Mrs. S. Ormandy, Mrs. P. Walker, Mrs. F. H. Price, Mrs. B. Finlayson, Mrs. G. W. Price, Mrs. Lacey, Mrs. Wolfe, Mrs. A. Lacey, Mrs. E. Pattinson, Miss R. J. Redwood, Miss Nita Wenzlick, Miss T. Price, Miss R. Johnston, Miss Pearl Mullins, Miss D. Webb, Miss Jan Johnston, Miss G. Finlayson, Miss N. Drever, Miss A. Whittle, Miss A. Lawrence, Miss P. Jenkins, Miss Gladys McTavish, Miss B. Mackay, Miss M. Thomson, Miss Pearl Banyan, Miss V. Johnston, Miss A. Yelcich, Miss D. Carter, Miss C. Webb, Miss C. Leslie, Miss E. Drever, Miss I. Walker, Miss Z. Hawkins, Miss E. Williams and Miss A. Maxwell.
