THE CENTENARY REGATTA Consideration of tho 1940 centenary occupiod the attention of the Auclflnnd Anniversary Regatta Committee Inst evening. The chairman. Mr T. L. Thompson, stated that the 19i,(i regatta had established a world's record entry level and it was undoubted that a major attraction of the forthcoming centenary celebrations would be the aquatic regatta. The committee appointed tho following to represent the regatta at the March meeting of tho Mnyor's centenary executive.— Messrs. T L. Thompson, A. J. Callings, T. McKniglit, A. Braund. S. Compton. E. Griffiths, G. Dennes, J. Hewson. On _ the recommendation of the sailing committee results were amended as follows:—T class: Salome. 1; Rona M.. 2; Zephyr. 3; Vamp, 4. Z class: Tnmalu. 1; Billy Boy, 2. Naval sailincr race: H.M.S. Leith, I.
