HAMILTON TOURNAMENT .OPENING DAY'S PLAY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday Players from Te Awamutu, Morrinsville. Taupiri and the local clubs were present at the opening this morning of the Hamilton Croquet Club's annual tournament. Prior to the commencement of the tournament visiting players were welcomed by the vicepresident of the club, Mrs. P. Thomsen. Results : Mesdames Dillicar and Shepherd won from Mesdames Hargreaves and Blacklock, 2G—l4: Mesdames Hawken and Manning won from Mesdameß Curling and Bagley, 2P—l7; Mesdames Drubo and Street won from Mesdames Larney and Belcher. 20—9: Mesdames Nisbet and Lock won from Mesdames Peart and Webbor. 26—7; Mesdames Brocklesby and Purdie won from Mesdames Harereaves and Blacklock, 2G—5.
