CONTRACTOR HURT

SEVERE CUT ON HEAD [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Friday The contractor who is repairing tho Moengawahino bridge, Mr. W. Gwyn, whilo using a jack this afternoon, received a severe cut on tho head, resulting in tho opening of a largo vein. After receiving medical attention Mr. Gwyn was admitted to the Whangarei Hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
