PIRATE SHIP

In spite of heavy rain and wind on Saturday night there was a large attendance of dancers at the carnival evening entitled "Percy's Night Out" held at the Pirate Ship, Milford. The back of the stage depicted a bevy of chorus girls, while large representations of Percy, the "man about town," were arranged in. the front. More replicas of Percy decorated the cubicles. Described as a nocturnal novelty night, melodies appropriate to the occasion were played by the band of six instruments, while varied favours were distributed among the dancers.
