MAZIR SPRINTS WELL [feom ottr own correspondent] TE AROHA, Saturday '['ho inside grass was used for galloping at To Aroha this morning and provided good going. Madelon worked usefully over a round. She is carrying a very bright appearance and may show improved form in her next few starts. Mungatoon and Lagoon were responsible for a mile in 1.47, finishing together. Fei Mali accomplished useful work over a couple of rounds. Ellanui covered five furlongs in 1.6 Gay Egypt worked freely over a round. An unnamed King Lu mare defeated Heskertoon by a length over four furlongs in 51 2-os. Mungacre, King Brierly and Libra were in the order named at the end of six furlongs in 1.17 1-5. Mazir beat an Acre gelding over half-a-mile in 50 3-ss. Mazir did his work nicely. Golden Sheila, Miss Mestor and Black Musk sprinted three furlongs in 38s.
