HUNTLY CYCLIST'S DEATH
CONCLUSION OF INQUEST CAR DRIVER EXONERATED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTOX, Monday A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest concluded to-day touching the death of Harold James Roy Sheeran, aged 34, grocer, of Huntly, who was involved in a collision with a motor-car driven by Mr. M. F. Nairn, at Huntly, on November 25. He died in the Waikato Hospital on November 26. Additional evidence was given to-day by Herbert Alan Hall, commercial traveller, of Auckland, who said he was motoring south at the time of the accident. There was a car ahead of him travelling in the same direction and deceased was pushing a bicycle in the opposite direction. There was a strong wind blowing, and the cyclist, who was on his correct side, appeared to have been struck by a gust of wind, for he swerved in front of the car and was struck. In returning his verdict, the coroner, Sir. S. L. Paterson, S.M., added that no blame was attachable to the driver of the car.
